Dewy Finish

I know that strobing is no longer something new and that almost everyone into makeup is familiar with this technique that involves illuminating strategic spots on your face, spots that catch light in order to give your skin a bright and healthy look. 

Strobing has a very dewy finish and because I am into that, I used a few of my favorite products in order to create and achieve this luscious look.

I used my L'oreal True Match foundation, in shade Sand to create the perfect base in order to apply next my L'oreal  Paris Glow Mon Amour Liquid Highlighting Drops (champagne) as it follows. I used it below my brow bone, in the corner of my eyes, on my cheekbones to bring them out, on my chin to accentuate it, on the bridge of my nose to make it look straighter & not the least above my cupid's bow.

For my glossy eyelids, I applied Maybelline gloss, of course, :P and in order to avoid the eyelids feeling sticky, I did not apply the product in the crease. Previous to this I used Miss Sporty Designer 24 Fab Brown Eyeliner. Then I curled my eyelashes, applied mascara, let them dry & curled again.

For my lips, I used Matte to last lipstick also from Miss Sporty and once it dried I applied a coat of lipgloss right over.

I added fixing spray to finish it up.

#lazy

It’s just one of these days when all I want to do is to be LAZY… Lazy in bed, lazy on the sofa, actually… I want to be lazy anywhere I can be lazy, as long it is cozy & comfy. Guess it’s the season outside that got me in the mood that makes me want to stay under the covers, read a magazine… read? No, actually check on the fashion photography in there for self-inspiration. Yes, I am in the mood for jazz music playing in the background, lit scented green apple candle & drinking wine... Yes, white & dry for me, please. Horror Love Story

With  Halloween in just two days, I wanted to say that I was never a horror movie genre fan as I hate to get scared or feel frightened.  But I remember that there was a time when each Friday night, ProTv was streaming after the X - Files , a horror movie. So… I remember watching Poltergeist when I was a kid, I believe I was around 7-8 years old… and I watched it from the top of the living room table, holding both of my hands, each one on one of my eyes, staring at the screen between my fingers… I was afraid for the next two weeks after that, that the TV might suck me into it. I hardly wanted to watch any TV. :))) I don’t even want to mention The Ring … I stopped watching it in the first 50 minutes… Still, there is one horror movie that I love, it’s Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula (1992). Besides that, it has Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves, and Anthony Hopkins in distribution, and their acting is mindblowing, the movie it is a mix of romance as the plot builds around Dracula’s obs...
